I don't think anyone will complain with you sharing your pics and motivating the crowd. You can be the official Pearl Guide Pic Party Starter!

To all the rest, very lovely. Such vibrant pictures! The Classic double is very elegant, but modern layers of metals and pearls totally gets my approval!
No, Midge said, I take it back. I wouldnt get a mink coat the first thing. Know what Id do? Id get a string of pearls. Real pearls. Yes, Annabel said, slowly. I think thats a kind of a good idea. And it would make sense, too. Because you can wear pearls with anything.

This is my second, smaller pearl, double strand of vintage baroque silver/blue Akoyas. The first was reworked into a rope. I just love the clasp on this one with the teensy tiny pearl. It makes me smile.

My latest layer. I thought they could go well together. Fiji pearls from Cees and Tahitians from Wen pearls. They're perfect for autumn. Name: Pareltje's 2 strands.jpg

Not quite a true double strand, but here's my grandmother's akoya rope (strung by Pattye) that she wears as a double

Pareltje- Those are gorgeous strands for any season. Such wonderful colors and shapes.

Andrew- Your mother's Akoya rope is really beautiful. I love Pattye's signature orbit clasp. Does your mother ever attach a pendant to it?

Yes, what a treat to have a double length of these lustrous, creamy pearls! Jeremy (Pearl Paradise) introduced this popular Orbit Clasp! So many of us appreciate this clasp for its versatility and ease of use!

Pareltje, your double is absolutely complimentary together! Gorgeous!
