Thank you so much ladies! I took a few close up pics of the bracelets. They are of course raided from mom's collection - mom loves and have some spectacular bracelets, but sadly I don't wear bracelets much since I'm on the computer a lot and they get in the way, NYC winter takes up a good part of the year and it is hard to wear bracelets with the jacket cuffs, and my wrist is so tiny that nothing fits without being adjusted. These two bracelets have been totally sized down to fit me (spare parts used to create other pieces), but they still end up being long term residents in my safe. I am making an effort to wear them more!

So bracelet has a necklace set. Necklace is a brooch/necklace convertible. The focal pieces are made from antique jade, reset into vintage style diamond/white gold. So the style is a bit retro, but they are constructed about exactly 30yrs ago. The antique jade has carvings of bat and ru-yi on them. Bat has the same pronunciation of fortune/prosperity in Chinese, so is used widely in antique chinese jewelries. The pearls are akoya seed pearls - they are so so tiny but so very round.

oh yah forgot to mention - I chopped up the pearls that went with the brooch/necklace and made it into another project lol! That's why the clips are empty. Will have to restore it at some point. The necklace is a double strand of 6-7mm akoyas.

That much gorgeousness on one arm should be illegal. Or shared. I'm your friend, right?
