Hello, I've been busy with other things and haven't been thinking about this project until today.

I took some pictures of my Tahitians with two strands of silver Akoya pearls that I recently purchased. I would appreciate some thoughts on this combination.

Annie, seems to me these strands will be lovely together. It's fun to lay them out on a bead board and maybe do some temporary stringing of a few different arrangements you're thinking of and see what appeals to you most. Are you planning to make earrings? If so, recommend you choose those pearls first.

These pearls do look very happy together. Hopefully the drill holes are close to the same size.

I love those together. I'd just wear them together as separate strands until inspiration struck on how to combine them. The akoyas look like soap bubbles.

I've been wanting to do the same thing (add smaller silver pearls) with the Tahitian keshi strand I bought from PP at the VIP Christmas sale. It would make the strand a little longer and more beautiful I think. I love your combination. May I ask where you got the silver Akoyas? I have been thinking about small ( 8-9 m) silver round Tahitians but I haven's seen any anywhere that I like. Hadn't thought about silver Akoyas. Also when you restring them together I would love to know what color thread you decide to use. We all look forward to photos of this creation.
