Yesterday my new golden south sea strand from Cees arrived. I strung it with gold Beaders secret last night. The pearls are 7-8 mm and slightly oval. First Cees photos:
And mine:
I don't have any matching pearlstuds yet, but these gold earrings with citrines and garnets looks great with it. They strand is slightly less dark in real life but not much.

Yesterday I also recieved a south sea strand from Kongspearl. Very baroque with lovely bumps and lumps, 10-12mm. It should be champagne but it has the most beautiful green tone. I stung these this morning with taupe Beaders secret. It tried gold first but changed after a few pearls. The strand perfectly matches my light pistachios south sea studs I bought from Wendy at Perlescence this spring.

My favorite pearl studs tahitians and south seas:
The studs are between 8-13 mm I think.
OMG! Those pistachio pearls. Wow! They're all great, but pistachio!
My Rikitea strand from Cees. First his photos:
And mine:
They are strung with navy Beaders secret and The clasp is a vintage white gold clasp with rubies and an akoya.

OK, forget the pistachios. Now I'm in love with the Rikitea strand. You have a beautiful collection.
My south sea rope from Wendy at Perlescence. It's platinum white baroque 8-9mm with beautiful metallic luster. The studs match perfectly and are about 9.4mm. I used ivory beaders secret on this strand.

Thank you Bweaves. I was expecting the greenish south sea strand to be more champagne in color, since they were described that way. But green they are. I am really pleased with it. And to find a match in my own jewelry box with the studs, it's like they are from the same lot. The rikitea strand is my all time favorite strand. I wear it all the time. Most of my pearlstuds go with it.
Beautiful collection Charlotta!
Awesome collection! The white south sea rope might be my favorite![]()
Thank you annie and AndrewM, the rope is really great and since it's longer I can admire the pearls all the time.
Tincups. I made these myself. I bought 2 books on Amazon and started practice in june I think. The first 2 tincups is with circled tahitians.
The next one I made with very colorful tahitians from Druzydesign. I made matching earrings as well
Next is my favorite, made with really small, around 8mm I think, dropshaped tahitians from Wen Pearls. The colors on this is great.
Last is my south sea tincup.

Your collection is wonderful. Thanks for brightening my day!
Other projects. First my strand of baroque south sea pearls and really small freshwater pearls. Had to use soft flex beading wire on this since the drillholes are so small on the freshwater pearls.
Next one, also with wire, is an apricot offround freshwater strand and some really small freshwater pearls. All the pearls are from Pearllunar on ebay, even the matching dropshaped earrings.
Then my tassel. So much fun making it. The pearls in the tassel is from a vintage akoya strand I cut apart. The little birdcage is from etsy and I usually hangs it from a strand of very small freshwater pearls from Pearllunar on ebay. I made the strand in 2 sizes. They are great to hang other pendants on as well.
Then I wirewrapped these dangly earrings. I used a vintage baroque akoya strand for these.
Lastly a lariat I made with 2 baroque south sea pearls attached to a chain with wirewrapping. I just tie the chain with a knot. The pearls are heavy enough to stay knotted.
