Thank you Pattye. I do love my bracelet and added a pearl to two of them, just so that they sit better on my wrist. I have been very busy lately, so I haven't had time to catch up. I did make another bracelet and a 38 inch rope some days ago. Normally I cannot make tahitians, white south sea and golden south sea pearls look good in the same strand. They look garish somehow, but I know that it's possible. So I started arranging pearls on my beading board, cut some strands apart and generally made a pearly mess. I found that any color looks good if I made a transition to the next color. So an ombre rope and bracelet it is. It was great fun and took my mind of the world for a couple of hours. There are circled pearls, drop pearls, wierdly shaped pearls and some almost round one, in lots of different sizes. I used pearls from Cees, Pearlescence, Druzydesign, Wen Pearls, Kongspearls and some south sea and tahitian ones I don't remember where I got them from. I have rather many small very circled tahitians that I think I bought as bracelets years ago for example. Anyway the rope first.

Gorgeous! You did a fantastic job on the ombre transitions in the rope. I do not have the patience for organizing beads into a nice arrangement so really admire your talent in doing so!

Thank you Incik Boncuk, sometimes I just leave a pile of pearls on the beading board for days and randomly sort them when I pass the board, I usually leave it on a counter in the kitchen. Ombre everything is my go to arrangement but today I made a strand of vintage graduated golden akoyas with five huge circled golden south sea pearls. I kept the graduation and put the big pearls in the center and then 8 pearls apart. I think that it will layers well with other south sea pieces. It's basically monocrome since the golden south sea pearls and the golden akoyas have the same color and shade. I also added some small white south sea pearls to a strand of silvery blue akoyas and larger baroque white south sea pearls. I share a photo next time I have good pearl light.

I also got a purple freshwater strand from Lipearls, like Gemandpearlover. It is a lovely color and I just hope that it woun't fade. With my purple edison huggies from Pearlescence.

Whilst drinking my pitch black tar like espresso this morning I sorted some photos on my newish phone. The last phone unexpectedly lost the battle of me sanatizing it, or maybe it was something else. It's impossible to get it to work, it's just dark. Anyway most of my photos were lost, since I somehow forgot to do something to my memorycard last time I changed phone. Had to take new photos. They are now securely saved on both memorycard and Google something. I even organized them in maps. That took days. Anyway, enough rambling and maybe less espresso? I found some photos of my favorite tassel, the one I made out of a tasselhead and a vintage graduated akoya strand that I didn't ever use. If anyone is has time on their hands this is a fun project. I have a description somewhere in either this tread or my akoya redos tread. It's a glorious tassel, everyone needs one and it's great with jeans. Why wear anything uncomfortable? First with the tahitian drop tincup I also made.

I hope that this will cheer you up. If not, there is always more espresso. I have also finally mastered my favorite take out combo. Sometimes I have to do everything myself, most annoying. Bangkok beef I mastered on the first try, it's delightfully super hot. Got a nice red tone in not-husbands face after eating it. The crispy orange chicken, that is the perfect thing to eat with that hot dish, took something like seven tries, countless Googled recepies and some you tube watching. But finally, better than the take out place I cannot go to at the moment. I think I might have a nibble for breakfast. Be safe.

Recently Wendy posted a photo on her Instagram page of a pair of mismatched circled south sea earrings that looked perfect for my new circled south sea strands and bracelets. So of course I had to buy them straight away, and yesterday they arrived. They are indeed perfect. I love the finding on this pair. Just like Queen Elisabeths everyday earrings, except for the huge diamond and natural pearls part... First Wendys photo

One think that my champagne south sea studs from Tahitipearldesigner would be better, but somehow the combination makes the earrings look washed out.

I have to show you this funny photo of my huge circled golden south sea strand and some gorgeous vintage akoya pearls. It's funny that sea pearls can be so different size wise. The akoyas are 4,5mm.

You can never guess what smallest kitten was just trying to do...she tries to flush the toilet. She accidentally did that one day when she was being wild and basically was everywhere at once. Now she tries to repeat the interesting noise...she is such a clever cat. She already nows how to light the bedroom over bed lights. Luckily they cannot start a fire, being screwed into the wall.

Fabulous new earrings, Charlotta, and your kitten sounds so clever!
That last photo is funny and an excellent example of the range of pearls available and just how much volume is added by a few mm difference in circumference.

Very nice pearl photo light this morning, very overcast. I got some better photos of my new mismatched circled south sea earrings I got from Pearlescence earlier this week.

With my ombre golden to white circled south sea strand, I just had to add those five big circled golden south sea pearls that I had leftover and couldn't decide what to do with. The ones I made a bracelet with (and some added green south sea pearls for lenght). So some days ago I remade the ombre strand, the ombre bracelet and the green and gold bracelet was no more. I removed one pearls from the strand and added it to the bracelet, added the five pearls that was leftover and one from the bracelet. Rearranged a few pearls, reknotted the strand and bracelet. Now the strand is 25,5 inches long. I cannot add all the pearls from the ombre bracelet to the ombre strand, some of the golden pearls are to small, it would look wierd. Sure the white and the deep golden pearls could be added, but not the golden ones. Here is the newish ombre strand with the earrings.

I have gotten a lot of use out of those circled pearls. I have a big one in my new ombre tahitian and south sea rope as well, it's sort of the center pearl, but since it's endless it could end up anywhere. The remade bracelet.

Beautiful pearl creations Charlotta. The new earrings are very pretty. I think the ripple and circle pearls are so interesting with their colors and textures.

Thank you Gemandpearllover, I agree the circled and rippled pearls are so interesting. The uneveness plays with the light and they often have lots of colors and different overtones in them. The big golden circled strand has some green and blue in it, and all those quirky shapes. I can just stare at all the different pearls forever, well a while at least. And the rippled golden south sea rope is stunning with dark tahitians for example, I could never have guess it if I hadn't put it next to the ombre tahitian rope when I was taking photos. Sometimes I try out new combinations, often my golden south sea pearls looks harsh against my multicolored tahitians for example. And sometimes I get surprised. These three strands looks great together, blue tahitian strand from Pearlescence, white south sea strand and silver tahitian strand from Cees.
