    Next set of pearls from Pearlescence. Absolutely mind-blowing. These are my first akoyas. I got baroque blue vietnamese akoya studs and a Vietnamese akoya necklace. Also a pair of baby south sea studs which I liked but the akoyas are fantastic. These are my first akoyas too.

    Gorgeous blue Akoya !!! I'm always amazed at the colour of the Blue pearls..especially the Vietnamese Baroques !!

    How pearls reveal themselves to us over time will always amaze me. By leaving them out of storage for a bit where one can glance at them during the day, in indirect light but near a window, can be almost magical.
