Thank you for your kind words. As you can tell, I love S of C pearls and Mabe, and collect photos of others pieces to just to oggle them. in my new slide pendant, Sheri uses a genuine baby giant clam shell she found on a beach on vacation to create the mold for the piece. I asked for the hidden bale and I like the outcome.

I bet those were created for them by Trigems. They make some fantastic jewelry and also use fair trade gems.

That's right, Kathe Mai who also designs for Trigem created the earrings. Here's the Columbia Gemhouse version:

It's so interesting that the earrings are displayed upside down on the Mexican Peals site, they look amazing either way up.

By the way, I love the custom pieces by Kathe and her partners:

My Cortez ring is one of their collection in 18k. It's well made.

Trios Studio is just up the road from me here in Portland OR and next Saturday, 24th, is their annual Pearls of the World Open House! Lots of gorgeous pearl jewelry and more. Their pearl supplier, Koji, comes from NY with an amazing selection. AND there are Chocolate Martinis ~ so if you're in the area, do stop by!

Oooh, yes please, Pattye, share lots of pictures from the event. I wish I could go.

It'll be a few more weeks until I can show my pieces in this thread ... they are being set currently.

    Cathy, you are hilarious!!
Umm, the good news/bad news is that the chocolate martinis are free! Right now a FB live is out of my competancy range (but never say never). I will see if Trios will allow some photos. It can get pretty crowded in the store.

Morella, excited to see your Cortez Pearl loot! Yes, I wish you could go to the Trios event; it's always fun to share pearly adventures!

MSC, yes, I agree with your evaluation of the Cowdray Pearls. Wouldn't it be great to see them in person?
