    Default Movies with Fabulous Jewels?

Hi! Iíd love to watch movies or shows that have wonderful pearls (and other jewelry) in them. Do you have any other ideas other than:
    Downton Abbey
    Victoria
    The Crown

    Thanks!

Victoria and The Crown have reproductions. I think Downton Abbey actually had some of the real deal mixed in with reproducitions.

Anything with Elizabeth Taylor will have her wearing her own jewelry, including her fabulous pearls.

In "Anne of a Thousand Days" she wears La Peregrina.

In The Post, Meryl Streep wears a gorgeous very large long baroque strand of very golden SS pearls. You almost have to zero in on them.

TV shows that have great pearls include the early seasons of The Good Wife (Dianne's character always has something fantastic and statement on). In the middle seasons she shifted to more metallic statement necklaces, and then returned with her pearls again for the end. How to Get Away with Murder sometimes has some noteworthy strands, and Scandal (another Shonda Rhimes show) also had a pretty good chance of seeing some fantastic pieces. I have always adored the Tahitian strand featured in Revenge, although I never watched the show.

Exactly what I thought as well. Dianne has some fantastic jewelry. I would love to hear the costume designer's views.

I am obsessed with this one necklace Dianne would wear - a 3 tiered row thick gold rope necklace, it was fantastic in it's classically simplistic statement-ness. One of the last times I visited NYC - I dragged my mom and sis to Fred Leighton to oggle over the shineys; we were the only people in the store with exception of Christine Baranski who was actually shopping. We didn't disturb her, but it was so fun to see her in real life in one of the most dazzling antique jewelry stores!

My obsession is the Tahitian strand worn by Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada. Ann Hathaway's Chanel stack wasn't too shabby either!

The Book of the jungle, from Rudyard Kipling' story. The last scene of this movie, in treasure room, shows mountains of pearls... faulse?
