Yes Pattye, when I started sharing photos with PG, I had no ideas where that collection of images would lead me.

    Remember 2008 ?

Anna, your games were great fun, even when we weren't very good at them! We love your photos! Nor could I have anticipated where my participation here on the forum would lead either! It's rather magical what happens when we follow our passions!

Ahem...this is one reason you haven't been seeing me posting here lately...Anna has been keeping me busy! She has done an amazing job - the book is exquisite and very informative, full of history and technical information coupled with luscious photography.

Ok, on that note, must get back to work! I know eager readers are waiting...

So as promised here is a page with pearls, this clasp was crafted by my teacher in jewellery who also drawn all the illustrations. Because there are 28 in the book that are illustrating the glossary.
In 1 minutes from now it will be monday in Paris so as promised pre-orders are opened on monday, and it's here. Enjoy!

By the way, for anyone in the USA who doesn't read French, you have to choose Ιtats-Unis as your country.

So the payment is in euros, not dollars? Thank you, Anna. Just checking before I order. Very excited to receive such a special edition!

No worries, I figured it out and my payment went through!!

    Hi Pattye,
the price is mentioned in €, it is your bank that will automatically apply the best currency exchange rate, better than I would in stating prices in USD myself. Besides export prices are 5,5% tax free, that's not a lot but worth annyway, and it works automatically.
I saw orders of several of you and I thank you very much for your support.
I am not pushing for it but if you want a signed copy, just ask on check-out.

And now, a big HURRAY for Sheri who finished the review, she did it wonderfully. You will appreciate her wording, each word is accuratly choosen, she chiselled the original translation as a piece of jewellery (we choose UK english) and the title is HER idea. A great idea indeed.
This week-end I will post another page with pearls.

Sheri, how terrific that you participated in the translation; I know it will be wonderful!

This is extraordinary compliment from the VAM! I'll be quite happy to add this to gemological/jewelry book collection.

And it’s a triumph. Many congratulations!"

Pre-orders will be opened as from monday, access by the link below my signature.
I promised I will post clasps and pearls, and YES I will because I always keep my promises

Thank you fort encouraging me, the English version looks like it will be a big hit! Pre-orders started well.
Yes I intend to come in USA for sure, though Tucson Jan. 28 - Feb. 12, 2017 might be too "just in time" for the book to be available.
Anyway when coming will be on the agenda, It will be interesting to consider doing "a tour" .
    Let's wait and see...
I will soon post another "pearl page" of the book
