Those spiky akoya keshi are gorgeous!
Love, love, love the SoC keshi!

What lovely photos you’ve managed to take, despite the low light. Your new rope is beautiful, and the blue ombré looks spectacular, too.
I agree that the freshadama are lacklustre next to the akoya, and also with those who have said that the akoya should last a long time (decades) even with daily wear as a necklace, provided you keep...
Gorgeous, Charlotta, all of them. I adore the blue circle pearls from CMW - I bought their sister strand, the bright blue one. But mine is still a bracelet :) Though a few spare pearls from the...
Happy holidays to everyone! Love your traditional festive colours, Jeg, and the ombré is spectacular.
Celebrating summer Christmas here in the Southern Hemisphere. My little circles are still in...
Ooh, I like your cool-toned take on a mixed white and golden strand. Very wearable.
Also glad to see that the golden strand from Cees is still intact - I always fear a bit for your strands! To my...
LOVE the mega-screamers, Bweaves - they look great with the Tahitians.
Eolian, your circled Ts are gorgeous. Those colours are so pretty and harmonious.
Casual Ts and tourmalines for me today....
Those are some major earrings! More please :)
I always admire your woven fabrics, Bweaves.
And that pendant is a stunner! It looks like molten metal. How big is it? It looks huuuge next to the BBA.
Those are lovely circle pearls - great colour, and a nice size for a bracelet. . I find my circles and baroque pearls much more wearable than my round pearls. There’s something appealingly informal...
Beautiful pearls, everyone. The SoC ring is always a stunner, Bweaves. MoonDrops, congratulations on your lovely new Tahitians - an excellent choice.
I’ve recently had whatever the reverse of PSS...
Yowza, those are so shiny! Love the combination of the softness of the shapes with the hardness of the luster. I admired these on the Kojima site and was hoping I might get to see them again here :)...
Pretty pearls, and I look forward to seeing more :)
I also try to wear pearls most days, even if I’m not going anywhere.
Wow, wow, wow! You ladies are killing me with these T’s! Those big Rikitea, AzFlyGirl - swoon! Jeg, I love everything, but especially the green combo. Eolian, your strand look so pretty - that’s a...
That symmetrical rope is amazing, Jeg - what a beautifully put together strand. It looks great with the scarf.
Eolian, your silvery set is beautiful. I love labradorite. The colours in the abalone...
Such pretty brooches, Jeg.

Thanks Eolian. Pearls and turquoise chips sound like a great combination, especially for Summer - I hope you’ll post it here if you decide to make it.
And thanks, Jeg. I was pleased with how the...

I haven’t looked at this thread for a few days. So many wonderful pearls.
Eolian, love your asymmetrical pieces and pearl and gemstone mixes. All the pinks and purples and greens are colourful but...
They are beautiful pearls and I’m sure your gf will be delighted to receive them. The quality looks excellent. I’m glad you’re buying them, so I’m not tempted to...
Baroques are a good idea. And to my eye, baroque akoyas aren’t usually very baroque (unlike other pearl types) - so you still get that shiny round pearl look, but at a much more affordable price....
Lilpearl, lovely tincup.
Jeg, such pretty colours in your Tahitians. Looks like you’ve definitely transitioned to darker coloured pearls for the wintry months.
Eolian, that crab is super cute!
What a thoughtful gift. As others have suggested, I think slightly larger pearls (8mm+) would be best if you can get them within budget. A good strand of akoyas is a big investment, but will last...
