Hello CroqueMadame :) and Welcome to our pearl lovin' forum!
Our experts will hopefully be able to offer great suggestions for you.
Mine? Black/Dark pearls look fetching on pale skin!
These Seri wore the pelts with the feathers "inside" and the bird's leather outside. Guess they liked their garments soft-&-fluffy ;)
Happy to hear about your newfound Love for Blue Akoya pearls :D
Congratulations...and happy to see that our experts' advice has been of help to you :)
Congratulations StarryPearl :D
Looks lovely! And I like the soft-baroque shapes.
What is your native tongue? Have you heard of the Pearls as One course? The CPAA has it in several languages...
Glad you did Linda :)
I'm sure you will enjoy it...there is a certain poetry in it.
Glad it worked and I'm happy to see your photos. You've got what seems to be a Bonafide "Giant Clam Natural Blister Pearl on the Shell". Species seems to be Tridacna gigas.
The blister is good...
Interesting to see the NYT having this kind of article. Very nice!
Thank you for the share :)
Pelican Pelts Cathy :)
Yes, very weird...the reason the town I live in is named "Guaymas" is because the name derives from a Clan or Band of Seri Indians known as the "Pelican people" or "Guaimas"...
Hello Aoi, and welcome to our pearl loving forum!
I do hope you will be able to attach photos...use the Attach files under "Go Advanced" when you are posting. Just works better this way.
This is the link to the Book, on Amazon
This thread will be kind of "reviving". Did not want to start a brand-new thread when this one will work fine :)
BTW: I am waiting for Pearlescence's book to arrive in the mail one of these days...
Amazing. Caitlin is still sharing with me :D
I had this document on paper, given to me by the author (Maria Haws) back in the day...about 2000? Can't recall the year but it was long ago ;)
And when...
Excellent article :)
I will actually use it for a write-up :D
Ow...shucks! Made me blush ;)
I'm always happy to help. It's my calling, so anytime Lisa C!
Hello Mohammad, and welcome to our Pearl Loving forum :)
Iran! Have some friends that came from there and they always tell me of the beauty of Persia. Glad to have you aboard.

Good morning and a great start of the week to all!
Have more news today...the CPAA is now offering the #ThisIsPearl digital bi-montlhy magazine in Spanish language too :)
Translations by yours...
Yes, very "Corteish" indeed! Many of the lighter colored Tahitians and lightly colored Cortez look very much the same, but then you have the SIZE (Tahitians win always) and the "erotochromatic"...
Those are very good photos and very nice pearl jewelry :)
Love the keshi and mixed tahitians :)
Those golden pearls are lovely and they do compliment your skin tone quite nicely! I will have to save for a golden pearl necklace for my wife :)
Have a beautiful weekend!
Excellent answer Bernadette, very thorough and concise :D
And thank you for posting that image...I have seen very few real Biwa pearls in person (or as Josh says: "In the Nacre") and I rarely see...
Thank you Pearlescence and Marianne for your confirmation :)
Hope this helps you ezeeepass.
Stay safe!
Me neither! I learn new stuff everyday :D
