What kind of pearls are in this brooch and what is its value?

This is a Tripari pearl brooch from my grandmother. I'd like to know what kind of pearls they are and what the selling value is of this brooch. It has the original stamp with the crown from before 1955.

Thanks. I was doing some research and found the stamp on the pin I have with a crown above the name is considered a collector's item since the company changed the logo after 1955. So I will check out ebay. It might be worth something.
