Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum. This is my mother's ring which she bought in the late 60s or early 70s, either in Wash., DC or NYC.

I think it is 18K, as I see a faded K mark on the inner band. It has 2 tiny diamonds on the design. The pearls are baroque shape around 11 mm.

Could these be South Sea?
Please help me identify them.
Thanks so much in advance.

Jaye! Is this the Jaye I've been discussing Ann Hand brooches with? ;)

Ah, never mind! I have a coworker (we're in DC) by the same name and her mom is a big jewelry collector, I thought you were her.

I defer to Jeremy but they look like South Sea pearls to me, too.

Thanks Jeremy for the quick reply.
Thank you for this wonderful forum.

Hello Battah, I am not your Jaye, but I am in DC area also.
Thanks for your input!

Jaye, welcome! And what a beautiful ring.

Thanks JerseyPearl for the welcome!

Gemgeek, Amti and Katbran - the ring is big on my finger, but the pearls are lovely.
I'm very pleased that Jeremy confirmed SS.
