What kind of pearls are these and what are they worth?

I received these pearls from a family friend for mothers day a few years ago. I have a necklace and a set of earrings. I can't find any special markings or numbers on anything on them. I rubbed them together and they feel gritty, I've done a few other tests I've found online and they seem real. I posted a few imperfection pictures as well. They all seem pretty consistent in size.
I was just wondering what kind they are and how much they're worth if anyone on here could be so kind to tell me.
Thank You

That's what I figured I didn't wanna pay a jeweler $100 to tell me they're only worth $50 or so. lol
Thanks!

jastew77,
The nice thing about this kind of freshwaters is that they are solid nacre. There is no bead nucleus to make them rounder-- they are pearl all the way through.

I was thinking of selling them since they aren't worth a lot and I'm just not much of a pearl wearer. What do you guys think would be a fair asking price?

Used, small freshwater pearls do not sell for much. Check your local consignment shops and see what's in their case-- and remember the consignor gets only about 50%, and many buyers wait until things are marked half off. I think you will be doing well to make $10-15.
