I just stumbled on this very short video demonstrating a new-to-me strategy for keeping your knots snug up against your beads, and had to share. So simple, one of those things that strikes me as obvious only after I’ve seen it, and just oh so slick! I haven’t tried it yet but I certainly plan to! I’m willing to bet there’s a few yards of practice required before one can do it that effortlessly, but I certainly have plenty of beads to practice with… not including the batch I ordered before I even got out of bed this morning… hey I had credit that was expiring, you expect me to turn down free beads?! (We won’t talk about the $40 I spent in redeeming the $4…)

Edit: I tried several knots this way- it totally works. Holy cow it works! Still a little awkward but let me get a couple strands done this way and we’ll see if that’s still the case.
