Wow!! I love the statement WSS necklace & bracelet!! And the mixed GSS & WSS necklace!!! Thank you for sharing these beautiful pics!!

Wow, great eye candy. If anyone wants to know what real South Sea pearls look like, these are the photos to do it.

Thank you, Everyone! I appreciate the kind words. I am still learning about pearls, and I am very fortunate to be in the Philippines to see Jewelmer's store. Additionally, I keep going back to Jewelmer, hoping the ladies find me a baroque necklace to match my bracelet.

I keep shopping around, and I am finding some awesome designs and GSS. I will have to post the necklace, I just bought that is a multi-color south seas opera length. I saw it last September at Kultura, and they still had it. It was meant to be mine.

I will post what I just bought at Greenhills today. The vendor told me that they have Indonesian GSS. She didn't try to pass it off as Palawan GSS. There are some honest dealers there, and they are struggling due to COVID and no tourist shopping at their stores. Rock bottom prices! I am going to need some advice. :)

Current SS purchases between Jewelmer on the left with SM brand Naccara, F&C Jewelry, and Greenhills.

You have some lovely pieces already. A baroque necklace to match the bracelet would be great.

Thank you! I was just admiring your rainbow pearl necklace. Everyone on this site has given me the bug. I want to learn how to string and make my own pieces of jewelry.

Hi Charlotta, please see the picture of the baroque necklace from Indonesia at Greenhills. The picture doesn't do it justice regarding the luster and color. I have to make a trip with the Jewelmer bracelet to see if they might go well together.

The necklace looks gorgeous on the photo, it will be fun seeing them together. Stringing and making my own pearl creations is one of my favorite things, it's not that difficult to string. Pearl Dreams has a great guide in the lowly beaders section. And thank you for admiring my rainbow strand, it's my favorite piece. I couldn't have done it without Wendy, she selected each pearl, sorting through who knows how many pearls. I wouldn't change a single pearl in it.

If I weren't lockdown here in the Philippines, I would already be ordering supplies. I am having so much fun learning and reading from older posts. The lowly beaders section is very informative. Wendy must be amazing. :)

When I order beading supply from Pattyes etsyshop: PatriciaSaabDesigns, I always gets them in my mailbox. I don't have to goto the postoffice for it. Maybe it works like that in Philippines as well? Yes Wendy truly is amazing. She found me all those amazing circled south sea strands (4) and my colorchanging edison huggies, my big multicolor tahitian strand, my favorite deep golden south sea studs and all those blue and green akoyas just to mention a few. It's practical that she is also in europe like me, shipping is faster and no custom fees. I have ordered a lot from Cees as well and I am waiting for some circled tahitian bracelets from him, I had hoped that they would have arrived by now since they arrived in sweden last monday...The swedish postal service isn't as fast as it use to be.

All of those colors are lovely. When I am home, I will have to look at placing some orders with Pattye, Cees, and Wendy. My time in the Philippines really depends on my work, and I could leave at any moment. I really would like to see some quality Tahitians and Akoyas first hand from a reputable seller. There are vendors at Greenhills selling Akoyas and "Mikimoto" but I don't have enough knowledge to tell if any of it is legit. I would also love to schedule a showroom visit at Pearl Paradise when COVID is over.

Mjjshop, those are some gorgeous purchases! I wish I could make a trip to shop there!
