Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

SurfnSci your ombre akoya tincup is simply stunning. That's such a pretty look. I never did ombre akoyas. I will have to find some multicolored to play with soon

Oh SurfnSci your akoya ombre is absolutely amazing!!!! Such beautiful pearls and the subtle graduation is so so dreamy! And your wirewrapping skills are fantastic!!! A beautiful beautiful creation!

Oh my goodness, thank you so very much for your kind words, CathyKeshi, Charlotta, eolian pearls and BWeaves!!!! Your creations and stylings always inspire me :)

I am now back vacationing on Ban Island, kindly escorted by my loving husband so that I didn't fall off the boat or try to swim to a different island, so I'm thinking about giving some other older pearly pieces a wire wrap face-lift.

Thank you, eolian, BWeaves, and SurfnSci! Eolian, so glad the worry about your packages is over! SurfnSci, your wire wrapped necklace is fantastic!

I seem to be criss-crossing the Sound a lot this summer. I just spent some time at my friend’s cabin on a private island across the Sound. All the owners have their own boats because it’s the only access. Rustic, but relaxing, with great views back to the city. Some smoke this week blocking the views of the mountains. Still no orca sightings with all my crossings. Saw a couple huge seals, but that was it.

Lovely combinations jeg . That south sea rope is marvellous.
SurfnSci. I often find new favorites when I am forced to remake the pearls that I already have.on hand. Not always on Ban Island, but the swedish postal service makes you think that you are.

OMG eolian pearls I think I do remember that issue with your pearl...and if it was not a pearl I sent you it happened with someone else :(
The joys of shipping!
Your tin cup is gorgeous...and it looks dazzling on you! :D

So glad you had a good visit to your friend's cabin, Jeg. We spent 4 days in a cabin on a back bay of a little island across from Seattle a few years ago; it was magic :) Lovely pearl combos and looks, I especially love that akoya keshi necklace, and that tin cup with the glowing pendant ... Wow!

jeg Fingers crossed that you see orcas next time!!! Your vintage Biwa tin cup is so gorgeous, and what a treasure. I'm also completely drooling over your Kamoka keshi bracelet!

Thanks so much Charlotta, CathyKeshi, and SurfnSci! I think the Orca are hanging out further north this year.

Metallic coppery, purple, pink and green, strand from Pacific Pearls (extended), a mixed rope from Kojima. and earrings I made.

OOOh Jeg! Love those coppery pearls and they look great with the pendant and earrings, that blue also adds very nice contrast!

SurfinSci, your Akoya ombre necklace is gorgeous!!!! Love the wire wrapping!

Jeg, your pearl combinations are stunning & drool worthy!

Wore my Tahitian & South Sea ombre strands to help my son pick out an engagement ring for his girlfriend on Sunday.
Today, I wore Kanaloa to pick up the ring for him & have drinks & appetizers with the hubby now that he has recovered from the vivid.

86Corvettegirl Thank you so much! Your tahitian and SS ombre necklace is gorgeous, and your Kanaloa necklace is incredibly stunning!!! Plus picking out and engagement ring with your son - how exciting! Glad your hubby is better, too

86Corvettegirl, you look lovely in both your ombre strands and in Kanaloa. So happy that your husband is better and congratulation on your sons engagement.

Thank you, SurfinSci, Charlotta, & Douglas. Yes, Kanaloa is a Sheri creation we collaborated on a couple of years ago before the covid hit. I have another project in mind for us to work on but the covid has affected my pearl monies. Waiting for those funds to build back up before I move forward on it. Sheri did a wonderful job & people always compliment him every time I wear him.

86 those are gorgeous looks; Kanaloa is magnificent as always ... and I am so delighted to hear your husband is recovered :)

Jeg, beautiful as always. That hint of turquoise blue is such a nice contrast to those lovely pearls! You've given me some hints on what to do with my strand, which hasn't gotten as much wear as it should!

Hi Pearly Gang, love seeing all your beautiful new and older beloved pearls, worn with JOY! You all have amassed over 2.5 million views on this thread! My apologies for not checking in more often. Please keep the great stories and photos coming!

Oh wow! 2.5 million views! That is what we would call "Team Work" :)
Thank you for stopping by pattye :08:
Will you be at "Pearls by the Bay"?

Oh Jeg how beautiful is that Pacific Pearls necklace combined with copper pieces! And blue! Who would have thought??? Only you!!!!

86C I am happy to see Kanola again and WOW your ombres...You have some amazing pieces in your collection! Congratulations on your son’s engagement and wonderful to hear about your husband’s recovery!

I am still expecting my latest package...Douglas, no mine is not the same as the one with the Fedex issue, but still it was (still is) an adventure. Now that it is quite close to me (in the same country, region even) the shipping provider on our island has decided to go on a strike...So unless they find a new one no deliveries... Waiting for this package is “ an experience” until the last minute ... My Bday is on Sunday so I am kind of hoping for a miracle ... but it is close and I am looking forward to sharing its contents with all of you!

I have been playing with my Tahitian Love strand a lot these days, added a few special color pearls from Druzy, with the last two in my last package and then I will restring it again.
