Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

Thank you, everyone for the kind comments. I'm going to see how the brooch looks in my hair when l wear it up during the summer. I really like the GSS enhancer. It looks good on my Kojima white pearl chain & with my golden Akoya & Kojima white & GSS waterfall necklaces. Now the purse is in another realm all together. I couldn't believe my luck when I ran across it & am just itching to take it out for a dinner or something.:05:

So much to share today.

I had a 3 strand dog collar that I had made in the early 1980s, because I was a huge Princess Diana fan. Loved her pearls. As my neck got older, I added more pearls to have it sit lower on my neck. High dog collars are really uncomfortable. Anyway, I ran out of pearls to lengthen it, so I sent it to Pearl Paradise who lengthened it to the equivalent of a 17, 18, 19 inch strand triple, and it looks great. I'll be wearing it more often now. I had it made with a cameo with a gold bezel setting on one side, and a white gold pearl and diamond clasp which can be worn in the front for a completely different look. 2 necklaces in one.

Here's what it originally looked like. This photo was taken at the Diwali celebration at work several years ago. My Indian coworkers insisted that we all wear saris and get our hands hennaed.

And here's the necklace now.

The 10 1/2 inches of extra pearls are a great match. Being a pearl junkie, I can tell which pearls are the new ones because they are a better quality than what was in the necklace originally, but only if I'm looking very closely. They match great! They make the necklace look better. I think most of the people on the PG forum will be able to tell which are the new pearls, too. They're so much shinier. The older pearls are chalkier looking. But in person at a normal viewing distance, you can't tell.

I love the way it lays on my neck now. I'll wear it a lot more often now.

Great combinations Bweaves. Your triple strand is gorgeous and I bet much more comfortable to wear. I cannot have anything tight around my neck. Used to drive my mother crazy when I ruined the turtle neck shirts/sweaters every time. Don't know why she tried. I pulled those collars out of shape in no time.

New rendition of your "dog collar" looks wonderful on you BWeaves ... as do the other pearl looks ... thanks for the beauty!

Love all your choices, especially the new reconstruction of your choker, BW. Looks wonderful on you.
Today, I had so much to do to get hubby ready for his business trip. I wore my WSS & Tahitian Ombré strands with Tahitian drop pendant from Sakura & WSS diamond earrings. Feels so good to be in these pearls!

So many amazing pearls to admire BWeaves and 86C!!!
The beach necklace is such a lovely fun piece BWeaves!
Love the ombres, so so beautiful 86C!!!

My contribution today is a simple leather bracelet I made with a baroque pearl from Wen. It has the most amazing colors and eventhough the pearl is not perfect all I see is a rainbow:)

Love your bracelet, Eolian. The colors are beautiful.
Thank you all for the kind comments on my Ombré strands. They are some of my favorite strands to wear. Now I'm wanting WSS & Golden strands. ;) My wish list never stops.
Today I brought out some bling to brighten up my day. FW torsade with panther clasp & matching bracelet. Just something fun. The ring is a WSS I've had for years.

Oh Wowee! I agree with BWeaves
The jewelry work (Feline) reminds me of Bast, the goddess of ancient Egypt! Lovely!

Last week, when it was warm in Pittsburgh...
