        • Such pretty new pieces 86Corvettegirl.

          • Thanks Charlotta, BWeaves and 86C!

Eolian, those pieces are so light and cheerful! A very happy look, and they look so great on you!

86C! Won’t it be fun to take that handbag out for a spin?! I especially like the new pendant.

            • lol jeg I *actually* started salivating when I saw your Tahitian bubbles. Stunning colors, especially the strand with the sage and bronze tones??? What!! I have never seen such a strand! I have a new crush ♥

And, echoing the chorus here but yes...incredible bag 86Corvettegirl. I love the way the various sizes have been arranged in such a balanced way.

BWeaves that akoya cocktail ring!! I love the unabashed geographic territory it covers

              • 86C. WOW! My jaw kept dropping lower as I kept scrolling down.

                • Thank you, everyone for the kind comments. I'm going to see how the brooch looks in my hair when l wear it up during the summer. I really like the GSS enhancer. It looks good on my Kojima white pearl chain & with my golden Akoya & Kojima white & GSS waterfall necklaces. Now the purse is in another realm all together. I couldn't believe my luck when I ran across it & am just itching to take it out for a dinner or something.

                  • So much to share today.

I had a 3 strand dog collar that I had made in the early 1980s, because I was a huge Princess Diana fan. Loved her pearls. As my neck got older, I added more pearls to have it sit lower on my neck. High dog collars are really uncomfortable. Anyway, I ran out of pearls to lengthen it, so I sent it to Pearl Paradise who lengthened it to the equivalent of a 17, 18, 19 inch strand triple, and it looks great. I'll be wearing it more often now. I had it made with a cameo with a gold bezel setting on one side, and a white gold pearl and diamond clasp which can be worn in the front for a completely different look. 2 necklaces in one.

Here's what it originally looked like. This photo was taken at the Diwali celebration at work several years ago. My Indian coworkers insisted that we all wear saris and get our hands hennaed.

                    And here's the necklace now.

The 10 1/2 inches of extra pearls are a great match. Being a pearl junkie, I can tell which pearls are the new ones because they are a better quality than what was in the necklace originally, but only if I'm looking very closely. They match great! They make the necklace look better. I think most of the people on the PG forum will be able to tell which are the new pearls, too. They're so much shinier. The older pearls are chalkier looking. But in person at a normal viewing distance, you can't tell.

I love the way it lays on my neck now. I'll wear it a lot more often now.

                        • Great combinations Bweaves. Your triple strand is gorgeous and I bet much more comfortable to wear. I cannot have anything tight around my neck. Used to drive my mother crazy when I ruined the turtle neck shirts/sweaters every time. Don't know why she tried. I pulled those collars out of shape in no time.

                          • New rendition of your "dog collar" looks wonderful on you BWeaves ... as do the other pearl looks ... thanks for the beauty!

                            • Love all your choices, especially the new reconstruction of your choker, BW. Looks wonderful on you.
Today, I had so much to do to get hubby ready for his business trip. I wore my WSS & Tahitian Ombré strands with Tahitian drop pendant from Sakura & WSS diamond earrings. Feels so good to be in these pearls!
