Hi all, I was recently shopping for earrings and wishing I had a close-up view to get a better sense of sizing. I've been meaning to do a zoomed in version of the size guide for a while, expanded to show round vs button shapes. Here it is! Of course everyone has ears that are different, but I hope this will be helpful for some of you! Measurements are my own.

I'll start with the freshwater rounds featured before:

[Sorry, the 9-10mm set is missing here. They are 9.5mm and honestly I couldn't figure out which photo they were...]

Next up: buttons! I have various colors so I'm listing them from small to large. These are all inexpensive freshwater buttons (from ebay and random places) with one exception I'll note (it's easy to spot the nicer ones). I've noted .5 sizes when the measurement was smack in the middle and I didn't want to round up or down.

        6mm white button (so tiny!)

This is great. I had been planning to post Ashley's guide for weeks and only did so last night. It's good to have a comparison, especially with the colors. The coincidence of this is amazing!

Woah, serious coincidence GemGeek! Only if I'd seen Ashley's super professional photos first I may not have posted mine....

Definitely if you are looking here I recommend checking out the other thread as well, which includes necklaces and is extremely useful:

Oh, the photos are wonderful -- and a whole set with buttons and in color! I think they augment each other nicely.
