My Pearls 2.0

Wow! I would have never expected this combination to work...yet it really works! Looks quite attractive!
By the way, I just moved to a new house and I am still waiting for the Cable Guy to come and connect us to the World! So, I'm mostly off-the-grid until I run over to the coffee shop to do some quick work!
Anyway, just wanted to wish everyone a Healthy and Joyous Holiday Season!

Thank you CortezPearls. I know right? It shouldn't work, yet it does. The idea for it suddenly popped into my head whilst doing the dishes and since the pearls were right there on the tablet next to the window I just had to try.
I hope that you move went smoothly, personally I hate moving. All that packing, sorting and unpacking. I hope that the cable guy gets you all connected soon and a merry christmas.

I'm also hoping! My 3 daughters are going insane :stooges:

Haha CortezPearls. In sweden we mostly fix the internet connection ourselves, except for fibrer installations. Mostly it's wireless, in the summercabin we have one that we just attatch the power cord and press a button. It's password protected but my phone remembers the password. When I am away from home it connects to my phones internet. Somehow

What else have I been doing...I made another strand like my Hearts Delight strand, only shorter and with a clasp. I have since exchanged maybe 4 pearls that annoyed me, but it's almost the same. I call this one Rainbow Delight, since it doesn't only have my favorite pearls in it.

Hopefully soon I have better photos...
This year christmas got cancelled the day before christmas, in sweden we celebrate the 24 december. Not christmas per se but the planned family gatherings, since there where cases of colds and other ones with confirmed covid, so me and Not-husband had to celebrate all by our selves. So lots of time on my hands. I have been practicing my wirewrapping, making a sort of pendant holder, like a safety pin but not looking like one exactly. Then I wirewrapped a pendant with a prasolite and silver wire. The gemstone has a chip on it so good for practicing. It went rather well, a little rustic looking. Then I used one of Not-husbands leftover hardboiled eggs to oxidize them. Funny that, I chopped the egg some, but it in a plastic container and microwaved it...however to long so it exploded in the microwave...it worked fine anyway even though I had to clean the microwave...I added a deep green leather cord and a wirewrapped pearl (those I can do in my sleep). I need to practice more. I have also ordered some more plyers since I lacked some....and more silver wire.

I exchanged the two white pearls for another white south sea pearl and a white edison. I also exchanged that very coppery one for another edison, a blue one for a purple blue and maybe one more. Don't remember really.

At last the snow, again, is gone for well today anyway and there was no sun so the photos accually turned out pretty good. Good thing that I don't accually work with taking photos of pearls, then I would have to figure out how to get good photos without that outdoors room and natural light...i have made strands and bracelets, remade some twice or trice...as per usual...
This is my green tahitian strand that I got myself for christmas from cmw pearls. It's accually a strand and some of the pearls from a bracelet strand I got at the same time, I wanted the strand to be about 20 inches long. It has some pretty dark, but colorful green pearls some are green cherry and some hane a touch of blue. I call this one Deep Forest, because it reminds me of just that. I did buy it for adding some green pearls to my stash, but it was so pretty that I made this necklace instead. I did buy another green tahitian strand last year that I ended up using in my projects instead. Hopefully this one will survive. One thinks that I can control that with the strand being mine and all...but them I get an idea in ny head and just have to try something out...

I think that it's really pretty. I love that kind of forest green colors. It reminds me of the woods in sweden during the summer. I know some of the pearls are a bit peacocky, but it's fine as long as they don't look murky and these don't.
With my other two green strands, Forest Mist and Spring Green

Oh Charlotta the Rainbow Delight!!!!!!! Another amazing piece, so so beautifully put together!!! Maybe my new favorite of yours, I think I need a group picture of your colorful delights to decide ;-)

Forest greens from CMW look very pretty too, cheers to pearly Christmas presents to ourselves

And so you shall have eolian pearls. I took one just yesterday. I didn't bring the bracelets to the summercabin, mostly because the light have been crappy the last couple of times I have been here, but I have one of the strands. The Rainbow Delight have the few changes that I made, you can hardly tell since I didn't change the color order.

I love these two strands. So colorful and great to wear. Pretty much any earrings goes with them. Mostly I have used my new deep pink edison studs, my green tahitian studs or my white south sea keshi studs, all from Pearlescence, with them

And Rainbow Delight, photo attempt 4 or something...without indoors fog, no light at all and also without sunshine blocking pillows...

Trying to get all those pearls so that you can see how pretty they are. That centerpearl is very colorful with most colors in it. I debated with myself if I wanted a centerpiece but it's so pretty that it had to stay. Most pearls are from Druzydesign, cmw pearls and Pearlescence. I have some more edisons, a few deep golden south sea pearls (mostly I add a few every order if there are any) and tahitians on the way. What with christmas and new year the packages takes forever except for UPS that cmw pearls use. I love UPS. They never let the swedish postal service touch the packages...as Fedex does...
I am thinking about making sort of colorblocks with them, like 4 blue pearls and then maybe 5 golds or whatever. Not ombre style really. Well se if that's a good approach. Maybe it looks awful.
I have also been thinking about how pretty my all green tahitian strand might be with just a few white south sea pearls...well se about that. I still enyoy them being green.

I did find some old photo of that green tahitian strand from cmw pearls that I bought a little over a year ago and then used in lots of my designs.
Old strand

And some of the pieces that I used those big green tahitian drops in. They are cameleons, sometimes green and sometimes blue.

And they are in lots of other strands as well and in a pair of earrings.

I wirewrapped them with green akoyas from Pearlescence and use them with my Pearlescence huggies.

Totally delighted by the Rainbow Delight you have served us!
Happy 1st Sunday of 2022!

Then I have also been playing some with my jadeit and pearls stretch bracelets. I exchanged a pearl in my cameleon swivel around bracelet, lilac on one side and green on the other. I liked the lilac part, with a green tahitian with a purply eye but I wanted a greener pearl than the greenish golden south sea pearl on the green part and I did find a lovely one in that bracelet from cmw pearls that sort of lost a lot of pearls to my green strand.

Thank you Charlotta for these pics! All your delights are amazing, bursting with colors and luster! Wonderful wonderful creations!

Oh my goodness, your redesigned bracelets are sooooo beautiful, Charlotta!!!!

I agree! Beautiful and Unique! And now I can see the photos in my large monitor and admire their beauty in Fullness :yumyum:

Thank you SurfnSci and CortezPearls. I did as you might remember remake the Fire and Ice strand, first I made Ice separately, then I used the Fire pearls in Rainbow Delight. Then I remade Ice as well, I did like Ice I just wanted to play some with some white edisons that I got from PearlRoadYW. They are very pretty. Then I added blue pearls and call this one Snow Drift, the blue tahitians being the shadows.

I like it fine, it's just that when I finally got some better photo light the white edisons do have a iridescencent glow to them that might not read snow....rarely do snow have a pink glow...I think that need to remake this one. Maybe combining them with some other edisons and maybe south sea pearls. I can always find a home for those blue pearls in my designs.
Since my experiment with edisons last summer, when I gave freshwater pearls a chance and found out that they really can be very lovely, I have given peacock tahitians a shot to impress me as well. In my opinion it's mostly a good thing to try to get over ones prejudice, unless it's about trying to eat dangerous herbs and mushrooms. Yet people tend to try wacky things like that. There I go rambeling about again...anyway I did buy a strand of cherry peacock circled tahitians from cmv pearls that did look really colorful. I have yet to see it in daylight but it looks promising. I haven't decided what to do with them yet, could make a strand out of them or I could try them with some edisons. I have put them on my window sill waiting for daylight. I will be getting my third vaccine dose today. If I feel fine after I might just play with them some. After the second dose I got all dizzy, tired, with headache and generally sore for three days. Hopefully it goes better this time.
By the way I temporary added those last blue green tahitians from cmw pearls to my third version of Fairys treasure, a bracelet since my cat Kycklingen (the chicken) stole one of them and made it go under my stove. I retrieved it and will not let loose pearls stay open anymore (I do hear laughter from somewhere...) Anyway Fairys treasure

They are perfect for each other. Most of the pearls in these two are from Druzydesign

Oh these are truly amazing Charlotta! Meant to be shining together, absolutely!

I hope you feel OK after your third dose...I love cherry peacocks and was eying some at CMW as well...but I am starting my no-jewelry buy year so once again I unfollowed them on IG to escape the temptation So I am happy to hear I will be able to admire yours
