My Pearls 2.0

That cherry peacock and silvery akoyas didn't work out as planned, not ugly, but not special either. Back to the beading board with them. Maybe the white edisons with the pink overtones would work better. I am thinking maybe a mirror strand, darker one one side but with some white pearls and the opposite on the other. Could be cool...lr not. Best to try...where did I put the scissors..come here scissors.....

Those akoyas...I am so in love with akoyas right now and yours just make me fall deeper and deeper...So so pretty Charlotta!

Thank you eolian pearls. I like it as well. The cherry peacocks on the other hand, finickely little pearls. Beautiful, but what to do with them. I did make a bracelet with the prettiest ones yesterday and an ombre white to peacock strand, that did not turn out like I wanted to. Maybe they need to dimmer in a box for a while. The bracelet I like.
I was so pleased with my long wirewrapped endless strand that I made a shorter one as well. This is Green Fairy (that wants your soul). I have a whole story for that name, but haven't gotten the time to write it
The pearls in this one is mostly from Druzydesign, cmw pearls and Pearlescence

I haven't shown you the updated Fairys Treasure bracelet. It's added some white south sea pearls instead of the ice blue akoyas (that are now in my Frozen Lake bracelet) and changed the clasp. It's beautiful when worn, not that I rememberd to photograph that....and I don't accually feel an urge to remake it...it's a fun bracelet that goes with most jewelry and I finally found a home for some of those pretty keshis.

The really small blue tahitians are Alexander Collins tahitians from Pearlescence. I still have some stashed away with my other loose blue pearls in a blue box....well I was bored when I was sick a couple of weeks ago and sorted all the pearls...
Then this is my latest endevor with the circled cherry peacocks...

It just doesn't make me happy. They have lots of colors in them, gorgeous shape and luster. I am sure that I will find a place for them. At least in some ombre arrangment where they can add some purple color to the strand. I usually use peacocks with lots of pink or purple as purple in my strands.

I love the Circled Cherries! The luster and color is magnificent! I am sure you can come up with a new design that will make it better: we've seen what you can come up with but it is beautiful!

Thank you CortezPearls. I probably will, like with the tahitian keshis. The keshis took about 6 months or so before I liked the result. One think that keshis wouldn't be hard to place and I have made a keshi tassel as well as a keshi pearl chain before. But they were. Some pearls that I think will be difficult to use, like the edisons I bought last summer and made Sunset with within days. I was hesitant at using edisons since I have been disappointed with freshwater pearls before, not edisons though more with ripples and off round freshwater pearls. So the cherry peacocks will probably find there place eventually. I do love the three middle pearls, probably because they have such an amazing shape and a bluish overtone.

I did arrange the rest of the cherry peacocks with some white south sea pearls, ombreish style

I could remake them back if I want to but would I wear it? I do want to find the pearly match that looks good with them. I have to experiment some with them. A piece that I have loved for years recently got an update. I did tire of my pelosi like strand and then had some of those around 8mm deep golden round south sea pearls from Cees at hand. I decided to make my shorter wavestrand with deep golden south sea pearls and vintage akoyas a little bit longer, it was almost 18 inches long, now it's 19,5 inches. Much more comfortable lenght since I hate having jewelry and clothes alike close to my neck.

I love that strand and still have the longer version intact. I combined this one with my circled deep golden south sea strand from Druzydesign and they look great together. Probably would be pretty with my Sunrise Clouds strand as well.

What else have I been up to, well during my wirewrapping weekend I also did wirewrap my rainbow bracelet from cmw pearls and added a svivel fob clasp thinghy at front, for pendants and charms and such.

And with my coral pendant again. Love that pendant. Those tahitians are difficult to photograph, they need the best of light and that day the light was a bit weak.
I call this one my Rainbow Chain necklace and the lenght can be altered between 20-25 inches, depending on what I want to add. I have a gorgeous carved jadeit landscape pendant that is on leather right now. I have to remake the wirewrapping on it and then I can add it to the chain. This one, it's not wirewrapped in the photo, I did that later on.

I have some labradorites to play with as well. I wanted a tree of life wirewrapped pendant, but the seller who sold the ones I liked couldn't guarantee that they were nickel free, so I have to do them myself. Well see about that. It's looks finickely.

Oh Charlotta you know how I love your Rainbow bracelet! It looks amazing as a necklace too!:07:

Charlotta, your wire-wrapping and those beautiful rainbow beauties!!!! Sooo pretty :heart::heart:

Thank you @SurfnSci.
I am giving the cherry peacocks another chance at winning me over. I remade it into a strand, but added some others peacocks as well,so it's now 21,5 inches. A little longer than most of my strands but then they will probably layer well. I figured it's better to go longer th an shorter on a strand that doesn't capture my heart at once. I am wearing it with my Hearts Delight endless rope, I had to restring it due to a flaw probably noone else could see and added two more edisons whilst it was on the beading board. It's now 34 inches. I like the combination of those two strands, one really colorful and the other colorful but darker.

I love the new Ombre necklace! It does stand out from the previous one, being more classic. I just keep loving Ombre necklaces over all others. The Sunrise Strand just warms me up...something I like during these cold winter days.
The tin cup is quite delightful and I love the way you can make it versatile with that swivel clasp!

Thank you CortezPearls. I really like that swivel clasp. Very practical. I am going to make a garnet strand or something like that with the other swivel clasp I bought. I f they ever arrive

My yet again remade Bird of Paradise strand, now 21,5 inches long. The cherry peacocks are growing on me, even though they are quite dark.
