My tahitian pearls

And I have to post some photos of Dark Blob, the leftover from making the ombre ombre strand. It also have some pearls from my leftover pile, but the big tahitians are from Pearlescence and the small ones from Druzydesign. The Blob part is because most of them isn't really round.

surprisingly wearable Dark Blob. It must be what people think that black tahitian pearls do look like when they haven't ever seen any...

I also have the trice remade really long mixed sizes tahitian rope. First it was just rope lenght, then I made it really long, 56,5 inches, then I missed those soft color transitions from the first one, so I rearranged the pearls and shortened it to 41 inches long. The really big tahitian drops and the smaller ones are from Cees. There are also a couple of roundish tahitians from Druzydesign scattered about.

There are some really lovely pastelly pearls in this one, even though they aren't all that light. I usually pair this one either with some blueish grey tahitians on my Pearlescence huggies or my lovely green tahitian studs, that also are from Pearlescence.

Those green tahitian studs have the most gorgeous warmish green color, without any pink in it.

Love the "Blobness" of the "Dark Blob", and the earrings to go with it too!
Jeez...had my COVID vaccine yesterday and I'm not all that well...had some reactions to it. I'll be around!

Thank you CortezPearls. I hope that you feel better soon. I hade a lot of muscle pain for several days and was dead tired. A friend of mine got a fever as well. Not-husband got the same reaction as me. Be care full if you get any wierd bruises.

Charlotta My returning thought when seeing your creations and reading things like "my leftover pile" is that I don't have nearly enough Tahitians! :)

Haha K. You probably don't have enough tahitians. In my early pearl buying days I often did buy tahitians rather inexpensive. Some were not all that good. I have thrown out the worst of them. The rest are in a fishing gear box. I also put the odd tahitian or other pearl in there if I create something out of several strands. Mostly there is one or two pearls leftover. Over time they have become rather many. I have almost an entire strand of golden south sea ripples there for example. I had a rope that I remade. Also lots of peachy freshwater pearls, they look hideous on me. Once in a while I do something with all those pearls.

I find it fantastic when small and large pearls are mixed between each other on a neckless. And colors are mixing really nice. My mother has one similar amazing neckless in one of her houses in Cannes. I will try to get photo of it this week.

Thank you Pattye. I really love those huggies as well. They go with just about everything. I especially like that they are without embellishment, lets the pearls shine. You have to show us you new charms when you are done
