Recently I asked Cees to find me a nice baroque silver tahitian strand. He found me just the strand I had in mind. It looks like molten silver.

It has the most beautiful blue and pink overtones, hard to capture though.

TheSouthSeaPearls, I am sorry for answering so late but site was down for two days. I bought a lot of pearls from Cees and most of what I showed this far are from Cees except the blue tahitian strand. That one I got from Wendy at Pearlescence. When I continue with my earings and pendants you will see that there are some other wendors as well. But I agree, Cees pearls are outstanding and I love everything I ever bought from him.

I changed the clasp on my ombre tahitian rope from Cees. I have a gorgeous vintage yellow gold clasp with a big aquamarine surronded by small akoya pearls. It's a triple clasp and I was tempted to remove 2 rings on either side but for now they remain where they are. It's hard to see the extra rings anyway. However beautiful, It was so difficult to open. The tongue is so flimsy, but in a rope that doesn't matter. I prefer wearing the strand as a rope so that I can see all the lovely colors without a mirror.

OOOO, love the clasp on the ombre's. Don't remove the extra rings. You never know when you may restring and swap clasps.

Thank you BWeaves, I probably will keep the clasp intact. The rings hardly shows. I have a citrine clasp that I want ro use on my deep golden south sea strand, the one I bought from Cees, but since it's a double clasp I didn't look good. I might have to alter that one. I post a photo of it soon.

Your pearls from cees are spectacular especially love the ombré strand. Cees is the MAN!! Love that gorgeous clasp as well. It's so unique.

Today I restrung my silver tahitian strand from Cees with Beaders secret in aqua (it was sky before). I am not sure the camera picks up the difference, but I can see it. Aqua is a slightly warmer tone wich suit the pearls.

In june 2014 I bought my first nice tahitian strand from Pearl Paradise. I think it was some sale or something. Gorgeous colors, very long drops. Last year I found another similar strand from Wen Pearls. First the Pearl Paradise strand. Also a pair of earings I wirewrapped with pearls from Druzydesign.

But after I bought my ombre tahitian rope from Cees I remade the strand into a midlong strand. I think it's about 24 inches long now. I kept all of my favorite pearls, the funny looking most colorful ones. I like it more now. There are some really unique colors in this.

There is a very bright metallic spring green one and a gorgeous aqua blue one and a really funny looking peacock pearl... I sort of love them all.

My most used tahitian studs are these 10mm turquoise and pink ones from Pearlescence. They go with everything and looks good even in sunshine.

The size of these are perfect for every day wear. They aren't so heavy that my ears gets sore. And since they are baroque, wich you cannot see when worn, the price was also great. I really love this pair of earrings.

Last year I also bought my stunning blue tahitian studs from Pearlescence. They where described as turquoise green and 12,1mm, but I think that they are more blue or teal. I couldn't believe my eyes when I first opened the package. Such a gorgeous color. It didn't hurt that Wendy at Pearlescence could find me a matching blue tahitian strand in Hongkong last february.

Last year during the black friday sale I bought this pair of mismatched, 8.4mm and 8.2m, tahitian studs from Oceanscove. They are described as medium green with cherry overtone and silvery white with pink overtone. I lve this pair, stunning luster, very clean, gorgeous match. It's hard to find a fault in these they are perfect and therefore goes really well with my ombre tahitian rope from Cees.
