My pearls

Thank you CortezPearls. And they did. I picked them up an hour ago. I take photos this weekend if the light is cooperative. I don't know which one of my new Pearlescence pieces that are the prettiest, they are all very different. The pale bluish fireball enhancer is a darling of course. It looks like a floating ghost, very cool. And the deep golden south sea enhancer has the most amazing luster. The white south sea keshi studs are really metallic. My sideways drilled tahitian studs are metallic as well and has a cool band across them. I wonder why we drill pearls for strands top to bottom, showing the circles and whatnot and the studs bottom out? I also got those blue south sea keshi studs that looks like crecent moons. I love that shape. Talking about shapes, it would be cool with a cat shaped pearl. I had an vintage akoya pearls once that looked like a pig. I don't remember what I did with it.

Oh Charlotta so exciting!!! I am very curious to see all your new pieces!!! I have also bought something from Wendy recently, will get it in one month’s time...Ohhh the waiting....

I do hate to wait for my pearls @eolianpearls, but probably good for me...practicing patience... What did you buy?

By the way...today is June 1st! This month is "Pearl Month" so please hug & kiss your favorite Gem Today! :07::07::07:

I do hate to wait for my pearls @eolianpearls, but probably good for me...practicing patience... What did you buy?

I bought the Robert Wan keshi necklace...In one of those out of control moments...I loved the colors and luster and size and well...it’s coming my way:rolleyes:

:32:...you gotta share the photos when you get it! :arms:

@eolianpearls, that one did look gorgeous. And of course that white tahitian strand. Beautiful. Please take a photo of it when it arrives. I just bought some more circled white south sea pearls from Druzydesign. I still have a thing for circled pearls. I think that I may have enough for a strand with those new pearls, I might have to add some from my leftover pile. Those aren't as prettily circled though but I think that they will blend in. It's not like the circled pearls are all that equal anyway. I do want to have a great everyday white circled south sea strand. I have my good white south sea strand from Cees of course, but it appears that I want a circled one as well. And now I wait again...

Finally some photos of my new pearls from Pearlescence. I have been wearing the white south sea keshi studs for 3 days. So pretty and lustrous. One never can tell which ones that are going to be favorites. They are about 10,4mm.

I prefer them over my other white south sea studs that are about 9,4mm. The new one has more caracter.

The I also bought these fabulous blue crecent moon south sea studs. They are really cool.

The last pair of earrings I bought are these sideways drilled tahitians with circled in them. Amazing luster and I like how informal they are. These will get a lot of use.

I haven't forgotten the enhancers. First the deep golden south sea enhancer. This one has a strong green overtone. It's beautiful.

Great new additions Charlotta :35:
The wait was well worth it :)
Love the crescent moon keshi pearls...all odd shaped pearls catch my eye ;) and the pendant is sublime, love how it coordinates so well with these keshi earrings.
Just love how all the pieces work together so well!

Oh Charlotta all the pieces are gorgeous!!! Wow the golden enhancer, I love love the greenish overtone on the gold, it adds even more depth to the rich gold. Triple wow for the crescent moon keshis and the fireball enhancer!!! Such a special trio! Would love to see the earshots of those moons :)

Thank you CortezPearls and eolian pearls. Well worth the wait, not that I like waiting...they are all very beautiful. I will try to model those earrings for you eolian pearls, difficult to get earshots though. Mostly they get all blurry and focus on my unruly hair or something. Needs to cut it some day. Don't remember when I did that last, at that very affordable place with no booking system, aka my own bathroom...Not-husband now wears his hair with an elastic cord even to work. He doesn't want to try the bathroom cutting....his boss said he looked sort of dangerous in a good way. I think that he looks like a piratey. Need a pearl earring though....

My order from Druzydesign has arrived as well. First I made a mostly white south sea strand that darkened at the back through green, cream and deep golden. Very pretty, sorry no photo, but I didn't like hiding all those pretty green ang gold pearls... So I removed those green and gold pearls, mixed in the blue tahitians from my bracelet from cmw pearls. Very pretty, sorry no photo, but Not-husband said it was prettier ombre...so I remade it with one side white south sea pearls and then darkened on the other side, through green, cream and deep golden.

well I liked it but wanted more balance, so I cut apart that wavestrand that I recently made with those other circled deep golden south sea pearls from Druzydesign and I cut apart the bracelet with pale golden circled south sea pearls that have such great luster...and an extender. I have south sea pearls everywhere now from all my cutting apart. Then I added some white south sea pearls from my leftover stash. The biggest white south sea pearls are from that pile. Don't know where I got that one. Then I rearranged the pearls and knotted it. I didn't make it all graduated, it has a wavey effect with some bigger pearls. I arranged them mostly by color.

It's about 39 inches long. Hopefully it will stay like this for a while. I did order some more white circled south sea pearls to make a strand with. I have to see what I want to do with them when they arrives. I also did order some more deep golden south sea pearls and some cream yesterday as well as a pair of deep golden circled south sea earrings, all from Druzydesign. I have been trying to match a pair from my pearls but if they are somewhat similar thay are also really small. For when I don't want to wear my studs or the mismatched south sea earrings that Wendy made me. Mostly with the circled deep golden south sea strand from Druzydesign that I haven't cut apart...

These two pearls would be perfect for mismatched earrings if I didn't already had a pair.

Ok, almost perfect...I love that shape of circled pearls.

What a gorgeous new rope Charlotta!!! The colors and the shapes...and the luster!!!! Beautiful!!!

Thank you eolian pearls. The luster of those pearls are truly amazing and I find those circles mesmerizing. Good thing I have some more coming to play with.

The dreaded scissors have been busy lately. It started when I wanted to use the pearls in my white south sea rope, my bracelets and some other pearls in projects. Mostly for adding lenght to my circled ombre south sea strand above. Well pearls have been pretty much everywhere. Lets start with the white south sea rope (Pearlescence) and the blue tahitian bracelet (cmw pearls). I love those pearls. Upon recieving my latest order from Druzydesign I first tried to make a shorter ombre strand, with white at front as I told you recently, then mixed the white south sea pearls with the blue tahitians. Gorgeous but not quite the same size and Not-husband suddenly proclaimed he prefered it ombre. Usually he has no opinion upon pearls other than a dislike for really big ones (like 14-18mm). Cut apart the white south sea rope and made an ombre out of the blue tahitians and the smaller white south sea pearls.

I know, it's gorgeous and looks lovely worn. I would however prefer the white south sea pearls to be of similar shape and size. So now I have made the blue tahitians into a stretch bracelet with a carved red jasper scarab instead.

And most of the white south sea pearls are back in the rope again. I removed some and added a pale greenish gray tahitian. There are also some white south sea pearls with a faintly green or blue tint/band on them.

I do get tired of myself sometimes, still lots of golden south sea pearls everywhere, except for the one Kycklingen (the chicken, my cat) stole...newly yet again remade white (ish) south sea rope looks great with other pearls. Here with my ombre blue tahitian rope from cmw pearls.

Good morning! Love the new pieces :07:
Sorry for not being able to express myself better. Broke my right arm and my hand is swollen and hurts. Left hand doing it all...and is clumsy!

Thank you CortezPearls. I hope that your arm is better soon, but likely it takes a couple of weeks. It's not easy using only one hand.

Thank you Charlotta...I need to make myself heal faster...I can't wait too long! ;)
BTW...US VP Kamala Harris was here in Mexico today...guess what she wore?
