Your gemstone collection is wonderful! I can almost smell that fresh baked bread:). Well done!

Cumin levain smells delicious, it has to cool a bit before tasting it.

I hope that everyone is well.

The last couple of days I have been wearing my ombre tahitian rope from Cees and my mismatched green tahitian studs from OceanRhyme.

Today I added my golden south sea ripple rope from Pearlescence to the mix. It's always a good combination, the south sea ripples nests perfectly inside the ombre rope.

The mismatched green tahitian studs also looks great together with the south sea ripples on their own. Then again most pearls looks amazing with the south sea ripples, I don't know why but they do.

So many beautiful colors Charlotta. I love them all. The SS ripple pearl necklace has such beautiful shapes and textures for the light to reflect on.

The SS ripples look very wearable - they have that wonderful SS gleam without the formality of a round SS strand. I can’t imagine I’d get much wear out of a standard SS strand (even before working from home started), but those look like a great every-day strand.

Thank you Gemandpearllover and SydK, the rippled south sea rope is amazing versatile and I like all the quirky shapes. It really goes with everything. I also like it more since I made it endless, now I can twirl it however I want. I use the ombre tahitian rope more since I made it endless as well, some days I want to see those cream colored pearls and the next maybe the blue green ones.

Those sunny golden south sea ripple pearls that I bought from Pearlescence around christmas are such happy pearls. I tried to find as many combination on my phone as possible with them to cheer me and everyone else up. I found a lot. Firstly with my deep golden south sea strand from Cees and my frog pendant from Pearlsociety. That frog pendant is equally happy.

Love these! Your deep golden SS is just dreamy and has given me major pearl goals.

Thank you GoldPearl. The deep golden south sea strand is truly amazing and I am lucky that Cees found them for me. I had another deep golden strand before, the pearls were smaller than this, about 8 mm, I remade that strand into two wavestrands with a double strand of vintage akoyas. I missed having a good deep golden strand however and asked Cees to find me a new one some months ago, only with bigger pearls. And did he ever, my new strand is 10-13mm.

Today more happy pearls. Frog pendant from Pearlsociety, deep golden south sea studs from Pearlescence and my greenish golden south sea and vintage akoya waverope.

Wendy did find me some pretty circled golden, deep golden and white south sea pearls in Hongkong for a project of mine. Gorgeous big circled pearls. I had enough of them for two regular lenght strands, one mixed and one ombre. However my fingers wanted to sort them accordingly to color, so I started with the ombre strand. I wanted it to be from light to dark, not fading on both sides. It did turn out quite a bit longer than what I had in mind. It's 23 inches long after stringing and adding the clasp. The pearls are 11,2-13,3 mm (in this strand, there are some bigger that I have not used yet). I love my new strand and had to use it right away. So nice to work with pearls again and and these are such happy pearls. Since I cannot go to the summercabin during the weekends at the moment (it's recommended that we (and everyone else of course) don't stay at our summer houses. It's ok to check up on them and then go home without going to shops or meeting people. I take some better photos when we do check out the house). As always the pearllight at home is rather dysmal.

Today I used the strand with my champagne south sea studs from Tahitipearldesigner but tomorrow I will use them with my deep golden south sea studs from Pearlescence. They are a little bit darker than the darkest pearls in the strand. It's like a continuation of the ombre effect I think.
I cannot make the mixed strand at the moment since it would be rather short, having big and small pearls but not that many middle sized ones, and I also used up most of the medium colored ones. But I think that I have enough for a pretty mixed bracelet! I try that tomorrow after bakning more bread.
