My pearls

The silvery pearls goes very well with the topaz don't they. Do you have photos of then in your tread Alyend?

Charlotta,
I've just read your request, and fortunately I'm wearing them, so I've just made a photo. In a few minutes you'll find it in my tread "my collection".

Today I'm wearing my copper green tahitian earrings from Cees and my frog pendant from Pearlsociety. I bought the copper green pearls from Cees loose and glued them myself, I altered them today. The finding part that hangs from the earlobe, the hook, was think and flimsy. It didn't feel secure. The glued cap part of it was ok. I cut of the hook and I now use them with these rings from agustus-collection that I had for years. I secure them with silikon stoppers. The hook ones were not thick enough for the stoppers. I accually have some other pearls with caps that I sometimes use with the rings.

The south sea pearl on the frog is gorgeous. Would like a strand like that one day. It's a slightly cooler medium golden color, but it's not green. The copper green tahitians are to rare to find enough for a strand, Cees says.

The other pearls I use with the rings and one pair of aquamarines. First 8mm circled tahitians from Pearl Paradise

Then 7mm freshwaters from Pearllunar, lavender with some green I think.

The aquamarines.

I never tire of your golden-copper-green Tahitian earrings. Great setting for them.

Thank you Red, I'm more comfortable wearing them now. They woun't go anywhere without my noticing it, the rings are rather thick so they stay where they are.

Love the variety you can wear with these rings/loops. The copper greens are so gorgeous!

Thank you Cricketbug, originally I wanted a pair of huggie earrings and different pearls. I even bought a pair of yellow gold and diamond huggies. But I didn't find any pearlcups with big enough holes in them anywhere (probably because I don't know the proper name for these findings), and I looked everywhere. So I bought these rings instead, I did manage to find pearlcups in smaller sizes (I still have a lot of them). The diamondhuggies I nowadays wear on their own, not often really, because no pearls...Also even though nice diamonds and all they are sort of colorless...

Katbran, I think that because the pearl can move on the ring they balance good. I used them all day yesterday and I didn't even feel the weight and the pearls are 10,5mm so not small (I did finally learn how to use the antique caliper that belonged to not-husbands late father, well not-husband had to show me how to use it). And it's so secure. I do have shephardhooks I could put them on but they are less secure and I don't want to loose those pearls. I have never seen a color like that before. The frog is of course a favorite, being totally cute and it never turn the wrong side up.

Lovely earrings , the copper green pair is particularly nice.

Thank you Waps, I am trilled to have pearls as lovely as the copper green pair.

Cricketbug, my rainbow strand is here. I love it so much that it got is own tread. But I post some photos of it here as well. Wendy at Pearlescence did manage to make a rainbow strand in just one Hongkong visit. She's amazing. There is more in it's own tread.

I'm so happy with my new strand.
I try to get even better photos soon.

Today I got some better photos of my baroque blue south sea studs and pendant from Pearlescence, my new rainbow strand from Pearlescence and my tassel made from a vintage akoya strand.

The blue studs are gorgeous and very light despite there size of 14,4mm.

Thank you Katbran, you mean the akoyas in the tassel? The blue once are huge blue south seas.

This is the combination I have worn for the last week. Love the colorful rainbow strand with very round pearls with the equally colorful but so very baroque blue south sea studs and pendant, all from Pearlescence.

Today however I'm using the strand with my pink and green tahitian studs from Pearlescence, such an unusual color these once. Very pretty.
