My pearls

Thank you Gemandpearllover. It's not the fact that the pearls are not perfect on the practice tincup that bothers me, it the dull spots on the south sea pearls. They completely lack luster in some parts. It's, more visible in real life. I like the graduation though and might make one with other pearls, I also like the big lobsterclasp in one end. It's like a lariat, you can put the lobsterclasp anywhere

Katbran, the tahitians in my practice tincup is pretty bad as well. The lightbox makes them look better. The surface is very blemished. But somehow they don't look as bad on the photos.

My new peacock tahitian studs arrived from Wendy at Pearlescence. Gorgeous luster. They are green with aubergine overtones, 10,9mm. Just beautiful.

Thank you 86Corvettegirl. I think they will go with most of my pearls.

Thank you Pattye. I had the strand on me. I accually often style a white necklace with tahitian studs, or a tahitian strand with white south sea studs.

Went to our summer cabin to check up on it today. I brought some pearls to photo because of the accidental lightroom in the house. The so difficult to photo tahitian drop rope.

Look at those colors.

With the peacock tahitian studs I recently bought from Wendy at Pearlescence.

The studs kind of change color.

One more with the rope and the studs.

I recently restrung these with Beaders secret in forest and removed the clasp.

Ok one more...

Took some photos of the 2 strands I made with the baroque tahitians I bought from Cees. First the one with some of the greenish south sea pearls.

There are a lot of nice colors in the tahitians. Look at that copper colored pearl next to the goldens.

The next one is with baroque white south sea pearls, they are a bit bigger than the tahitians.

Both of them.

Then the pearls I had on me, my Rikiteas from Cees and the peacock studs from Pearlescence.

Some early winter aconites from the garden

Thank you Pattye. We need those little flowers in the middle of the winter, our snow dissapeared, don't know for how long and these bright little yellow flowers popped up.

New project. I love this triple clasp with an aquamarine and small akoyas. I'm not to fond of the ricepearls though. The studs are some aquamarine and yellow gold ones.

Some time ago I bought this bluish baroque akoyastrand from Pearlescence. Now I have ordered 2 more strands so that I can make it a trippel strand.

Might turn out good.

I think the blue akoyas with your new clasp are going to be stunning!!!

Thank you Katbran and amti. I really like the aubergine color myself. Amti I hope my new project will work out great. I haven't worn that necklace in years. A clasp that pretty needs to be worn. And now I see that Wendy has already shipped them, I ordered late last night. I hope that the swedish postal service is quick for once.

Charlotta, your creations are beautiful and your clasps! I am so envious of the clasps.

Thank you Parrot Lady. I have tried to find more fun clasps, but they are mostly for double or triple strands with tiny pearls near the clasp. And I don't need any more white akoyas. Also sometimes really pretty clasps are hidiously expensive, I rather spend my money on pearls...
