Quite interesting. I had no idea about the florescence of pearls. I found it a bit difficult to differentiate between treated and untreated pearls.

Yes, white pearls and Cortez Pearls display beautiful fluorescence! Thing is that: Black pearls and dyed pearl don't.

Very curious to find out the spectrum of light that goes out of the pearl with the excitation frequency that goes into the pearl. And see if this is the same everywhere.
