Natural Pearl with a form of fish. ...freshwater Natural Pearls.

I have got a natural pearl shaped fish.
this pearl is exceptional and unique in the world by its form.

This freshwater Natural pearl has been appraised by the French Gemology Laboratory.

The analysis suggests that it is a fine Freshwater Pearl.
The X-ray shows the successive layers of nacre without any presence of nucleus.
This mussel bivalve comes from a fine pearl .
the perfect likeness of a fish is a beautiful coincidence of nature.

the Freshwater mollusk that made the fish-shaped pearl was an artist ....
this real natural pearl fish shaped is uinque ......

best regards

Can you show us a photo, please?

Are you sure it's not just nacre over a fish that swam into the clam and got stuck?

Hello

See photo in the album.

In the family for over 40 years, we thought it was a real fish who had been caught by the mollush And Then covered with nacre.
But following the analysis of French Gemology Laboratory in Paris, show with X-ray no fish skeleton and it is a natural freshwater pearl.
Indeed, the LFG think aussi que la pearl comes from a river of America.

best regard (sorry if I make mistake ... I'm french)
bye

"Indeed, the LFG think also that the pearl comes from a river of America." (The translation software missed a few words. :))

Thank you for posting that photo in your album. It is a beautiful pearl!

Edit: The album is on the OP's profile page, but I will add the link for convenience:

Hi
Thanks for posting the picture. Pattye is right.

I have two wing American natural pearls very much like that, except they don't look like fish. They are from another Pearle-Guider, Norm, known here as "pearlman" He has a huge collection of them because he lives in Wisconsin which is practically the center of the American freshwater pearl trade and has been in the business his whole life. (He's good friends with Elisabeth Strack and some of his stuff was photographed for her Book, which is the best resource for pearls in the world) (Sorry that sentence was for people who have her book)..

It must be an interesting story about how it got to France!

Thanks for sharing!

Very interesting pearl - all it needs is some plique a jour fins and a jeweled eye...

Fascinating pearls, Hamoniaux ... thanks for sharing, and welcome! It would be so interesting to know where that fish pearl has traveled in it's lifetime since it left it's shell. I particularly like the unusual pearl above the fish pearl also :)

It does look like a fish, fascinating! Thank you for the photo!

It took me a while to find the photo, but that is a very cool wing pearl. It does have a grumpy old man fish face.

Very cool! I've never seen a pearl like that, but I've lead a very sheltered pearl life so I come here to get educated. ;)
