Get in line BPD. I saw it in person, and it's glorious. Very blue, with a lovely red glow in UV light. I would have loved to have bought it, but my budget wasn't there.

I often think that when I see photos of them - I know they must look amazing in person. ( though the Mabe always look amazing in a photo) One day I'll see one !

I had the opportunity to work on a special project for a special person using SoC pearls...they were truly amazing. Unlike Tahitians, the dust created when drilled had an almost ethereal look to it. I cannot imagine how gorgeous an entire strand must be!

Believe me, I thought seriously about it...but since there were only 2 half drilled pearls, there wasn't much at all...but that didn't stop me from looking at it under 60X magnification.
