Hello,

I was hoping that someone might be able to help me with a few question being I know nothing about pearls. I have inherited my grandmothers pearl set which according to the box came from Pacific Pearl Co Ltd Tokyo. The inside lid has the words Iridescent Pearl Set or Rainbow Colour Pearl. My uncle bought them for her during World War Two while stationed in the pacific. Any help on possible value and some history would be greatly appreciated. The glasp are stamped Japan, they are about 500 hundred pearls ranging from all sizes. I have photos if needed.

Thank you any help,

Bojasmi

Hi,

The Pacific Pearl Company has been discussed here before. The pearls are faux.
