| The one on the left is the South Sea pearl and the one on the right is an Akoya. The camera picks up some very subtle differences but to the human eye, they are nearly indistinguishable. I'm with pattye though, I'd rather have the South Sea, especially if the price is similar. |

| Do they feel different - SS and Tahitians certainly feel different to me - sort of harder and slipperyer
