Pearls from Indonesia

We were recently contacted by a claimed farm-direct source of "Indonesian Pearls". They hope to become a supplier to us. No extra information was provided. I am not familiar with cultured pearls that can be cultured in Indonesia... can anyone hear enlighten me a bit?

Golden South Sea. Think jewelmer... Careful with those "farmers" though. With GSSP you really need to know what you are doing, the investment is huge, and dyed goldens (touted as natural) are available by the ton. They can be hard to spot.

We are not quite ready to invest in GSSP. We would like to expand our Tahitian offering first. We know some traders of Tahitians, but they are quite expensive when considering the prices we would need to charge online to make a decent margin.
