I'm a Canadian living in the Philippines (but not in Manila, fortunately). I visit China monthly for purchasing pearls at source for my online wholesale business. I'm only into real pearls, not fashion jewelry. But I do know that in Yiwu City, China, where I do some purchasing, there are wholesale marketplaces of UNLIMITED varieties and quantities of such jewelry. I suspect you'd do better there than in Manila, but I'm not sure!
