Broken carved MOB shell-adhesive recs?

Over 20 years ago I bought a two large (8X8+) carved Mother of Pearl shells in Myanmar (Burma) for less than $10 each. I just broke one in half as it fell from my fireplace mantle. It broke into two pieces and the edges look like they will be easy to glue. I am thinking Crazy glue but have a feeling this would not be wise. Any recs as to what adhesive I should use? Your help is most appreciated.

You might try a two-part jewelry epoxy. Crazy glue could work too.
