Burmese pearls were once considered the absolute best big pearls before the junta ruined the industry. Maybe these are those. Let's hope that along with democratization, the Myanmar pearl industry revives.

She's a tiny woman, so they could be 9mm silver blue akoyas. If they were Burmese, that would be amazing!

Yeah, they do look like akoyas to me too..the color and luster is quite identical to a lot that I have although these are 5-6 mm
