We've been sitting on four large bags of loose (around 10,000 pearls) since December waiting for something that still hasn't happened that would have cleaned out stock out. We just discussed yesterday sending them to Japan to drilled and matched. If it does happen, we can always break the strands apart like we had to in 2010!

Thanks very much for that link Jeremy, without that the whole conversation would have been lost on me. Most educational . I know so little about the value of pearls that I have no doubt I overpay for everything lol But then I don't buy that much. Now I'm thinking about 10,000 loose pearls....ahhhhh...I'll buy a handful !

What are you waiting for Jeremy? Economic recovery? Is that what you mean? My husband's business has never really recovered from the 2008 crash; (he builds furniture).

No, not that. Just a specific promotion that would need this inventory. A non-PP promotion.

As you know, Jeremy, your friends here at PG would be more than happy to give you hand with tidying up your inventory if you get tired of waiting

I guess I missed the last PP Tahitians sale in 2010, the one I was referring to, was in Dec 2008, and it brought a smile to my face reading the thread this evening:
