The pendant has a nice pearl, a bit high on the price. Be careful of Macy's strands - my friend bought one and it had definitely been color enhanced (ok dyed). Circled pearls can be amazing, but you want good luster and I don't see it on that strand.
Good luck with your obsessions!!!

I'd look at all the necklaces they each offer. A Tahitian necklace is a very personal thing, if you know enough to look at the variety available, and now you do! Then pick the one that sings to you....
I'm wondering - why not return both, and get a really nice Tahitian strand?
That's what I was thinking.

Great minds, Sheryl! And why settle for one great pearl, when ???
Oh, maybe answered my own question - maybe she has champagne taste on a beer budget (That's ME in a nutshell) and only likes perfect pearls? I prefer the crazy strong colors and wouldn't mind circles to get them, but others don't always feel the same!![]()

Thanks KarinK for the whole list. I will also put it in my blog.
After doing some not so serious browsing, I feel that I like golden pearl better; partly because my husband does not really care about black color on me.
Like this one(btw, what is Button- not perfect round?), but I have never seen real golden pearls in person especially on myself so I may go to a local store to try on one then come back to the websites.

Hi Melody,
A button pearl is kind of flat on at least one side. It makes it more affordable than a perfectly round one - after all, the final shape is all up to nature
If you are interested in golden pearls, you should definately see some in real life. They come in all shades, and you need to find the one that complements your skin tone.

Karin,
Thanks.
I tried to 'reply with quote', it sometime takes forever.
I will definitely check the colors in person and put them against my forearm as i learned from this site.

Since you are here, can I ask a question not related to Tahitian Pearl?
below are the screen captures from macy's web site.
First one is more pricy but with a lots little things on them ( how to call them? blemishes?)
Is true that moderate blemishing is common for SS golden pearls?
This one is little bit cheaper with less of those dots.

I love this one, but wish I can see some close-up photos.
