Tahitian Pearl Shopping on Papeete and Rangiroa Trip

I'm planning a trip to Rangiroa and will likely stop in Papeete for a night or two.

Do you recommend buying Tahitian pearls in Papeete or Rangiroa? What should I expect? Any recommended sources?

Hi,
Without any doubt, shop in Papeete. You will have much more choice and get lower prices there than in Rangiroa (avoid Bora Bora too !).
Have a nice trip in French Polynesia !
