Hi Linda, did you ever see Pulp Fiction, where a briefcase occasionally gets opened, and this glow comes out of it (although you never actually got to see what was in it.....)

I think it might have been pearls, 'cause the pearl-drawer has that kind of glow too

Hi Kat- funny you should say that - I had the Canon out this weekend and was photographing Freshadamas, and did a couple with Hanadamas alongside them for comparison - but some of them came out egg shaped...... don't ask....... (something to do with focus tracking) - my fault, as the camera is a gem, and am still getting the hang of of it

But will try again this weekend, light permitting !!

yes, the shades are part of the 'opening the pearl drawer' ritual
