    Default Exotic Metallic Freshwater Earrings

These were mentioned on a recent PG thread and reminded me…..

they were also bought from Jeremy in the summer of 2009

they started as a ‘private PP sale’ (limited access prior to the public sale)

it was kind of fun, as the pearls on the page were all ‘one of a kind’’, e.g. they were all made up into either pairs or trifectas, and priced individually. Once the page opened, it was a bit of a scramble, as if you looked too long to make a short-list, when you went back, some would have gone!

can’t remember if there were different grades. All the pearls were undrilled. After a couple of days, the page went public. Not sure if PP have done a sale like that since

anyway, I bought these for BV, and had them set with ‘Romance’ single-point diamond leverbacks in YG from the PP range

    they are 10.5 – 11.0 mm

Oh, those are beautiful! My double-strand necklace is supposed to arrive from PP on Monday! Can't wait!

Wish that I was more of a lurker back in the day when PP offered these beauties. Every time I see pictures of them...

    Alex,

Those are so very lovely! The photos say romance, I can imagine the surprise to the lucky gal who gets these earrings during a secluded romantic picnic by the lake, Swans swimming about in the background, flowers & all.

Yes, I am an incurable romantic.

    Cheers Ash

Now these too are beauts; BV has a wonderful collection! And I love the parrot tulips in the blush shade. I was never successful at growing them; the snails loved the bulbs too much

You sure do know how to pick 'em.
    & How to set 'em.
    & How to *pic* 'em.

I honestly felt slightly dizzy for a second, they are so strikingly lovely. Thanks for the little buzz.
