I can't imagine it will be the sort of piece worn every day Restringing that one would be a JOB!

The cross body drape likely will be copied, but the choker, probably not so much.

Yes, Pattye. I really like the across the body drape. I'd love to see Sarah of Kojima wearing it!!!

I am guessing it would need to be a bespoke piece also - made to measure

I wonder if it will ever be worn?

that would be a photo and a half....

Didn't pearl paradise do something similar (a brochure) a few years back in How You Wear Your Pearls, that got folks on PG started on 100 inch strands..., and that was some bunch of creativity!

Well, this is beyond a necklace and completely decadent! It is beautifull and unic, but I doubt it's comfortable to wear...

Ha ha J Shepherd ... considerate of you to forewarn us that they were "sold" in brackets in your post ... in case one of us might have been in the running to acquire them and would have been disappointed at missing out! : ]

In response to Caitlin's comment on Sarah wearing it ("reply with quote" function's still cranky):

If Sarah doesn't mind, here's a pic of from her uber cool series "How to wear Kojima Pearls" on her blog:

    http://kojimapearl.com/blog

I'm a big big fan of her and Fuji's offbeat pearls (http://pacificpearls.us/).

IMO, Mikimoto's commissioned multi-strand is for the genteel refined set; Sarah's for the kooky woman/ man who channels individuality.

How many inches are we looking at in the gracefully draped pearls? Anyone know or should we try to figure it out with our imaginary or real 100" pearl ropes?
