Default My new Sea of Cortez pearls (and a couple others).

Hello Pearl Friends: I have received my pearls from Mexico. They were a little more subdued in colour than I expected. But now that I have been wearing them, their unique look is becoming apparent to me, and I am loving them. There are "green" earrings, and a "purple" pendant, with gold. The natural light outdoor photo makes them look so wonderful; the indoor picture not so much.
I have also included my other pearls; three on a silver bracelet: drop tahitian from French Polynesia, a white (probably freshwater) pearl, and my round Tahitian Zopiclone pearl (the one bought on Air Tahiti under the influence of a sleeping pill.) Also included are a pair of green Tahitian earrings with silver, also bought in FP.
I love viewing other PearlGuider's pictures here, so I hope these are enjoyable to view as well.
    Linda.

Wow the colour on those FP earrings is great! And the SoC look lovely..I would like to see some in person one day..I know that most photos probably don't do them justice..my pearl photos certainly never seem to show the correct colour no matter what I do. Well done, and thanks for posting - really nice pearls!!

hey Linda - they came through from Douglas then - wonderful !

I like the last photo, where you can really see the 'pomegranate' on the pendant (that's what I call the purpley-red-green on some SoCs !)

The Zopi Pearl sends me to sleep just looking at it

    Thanks for posting them

    Linda,

What a lovely collection you are growing! I'm always delighted to look at more pearl photos! All gorgeous pearls and I love the 3 pearls on the heavy silver links, a very fresh look!

Hi Pattye, yeah that silver chain is cool. Every second link opens up, so there is no actual "clasp". All those pearls are just pendants slipped on.
Alex: pomegranate is a good name for it because the surface is a little flat in spots too, so it has that shape as well.

    Hooray for pearls!

Yeah, you finally got your SofC set. LOVE them. You can really see the pretty pinkish color on the SofC pendant. So pretty. Enjoy them. Love all the other pearls also!

Alex: Wow, wow and wow. That centre pearl is amazing.

And in other amazing news; I received a new pearl today in the mail.
A lovely, simple round Tahitian on a chain from Sarah at Kojima Pearls.
What a delight she has been to deal with, and I hope to continue that relationship.
    Cheers.
    Linda.

Wow, Linda! This Tahitian just glows its heart out and doesn't need anything else (except you to wear it!); the drop pearl by the clasp is a beauty too! Couldn't agree more~Sarah is awesome~customer service, pearls and designs are just terrific!
