I saw this company at the fair in HK. They were selling Tahitians and SS pearls. Anyone familiar with them or have any experience with their pearls? I'm not familiar with Tahitians other than Josh's lovely pearls so have little idea as to how legit their pearls are....

Most traders at the fair are selling what they say they do there are always organizers mystery shopping and asking I know one of the guys who works at the jewellery show and they actually kick company s out sometimes this year only one go kicked because they didn't treat there workers right

They try to keep the name of the fair high so a company like shanghai that has been on the fair for years wil probable be oke

The japanese have really good pearls they are more pricey most of the time Like pearl far east etc

Fook yue pearls have a amazing name haha

There are some farmers that sell direct still think that's best

Thanks Daniel, I guess my concern was over something that I read in the forums about some companies selling Tahitian pearls with less nacre than they were supposed to have...but now I can't find the post

I always get a laugh when I pass their booth at a show. But my Asian friends don't seem to get it...

I can imagine working for them...
Customer ask: what company is?
Me: Fook Yue.
Then the customer walk off in anger...
