    Alex - thank you! Yes, I got a fever, and the only ************ is more pearls. edit: the *** is another word for Rx, which it won't let me post. Too funny, but understandable with the spam this forum probably gets.

    Cathy - thanks again for the inspiration. I would not have been as persistent in searching through the pearl bins if not for the pictures you'd posted.

    Pattye - so true about never getting one's fill of pearl pictures. I've actually been going through old threads just for the pics.

    Linda - I'm not sure about the metal on pearl. The necklace doesn't move around too much, and only the highest pearl (which is a smaller diameter) would ever hit the chain. I guess I think of pearls as being very durable (think of how they survive being dropped on the floor!), but I'm sure it's not good for them to rub against the chain. Hopefully the fact that it's a smooth snake chain will help.
