    Default Low Quality Tahitians

    I have spent a few days at the shows in HK and it looks to me that quality control is going in the wrong direction. It seems to me that there are an awful lot of nuclei with a little black nacre attached being sold as pearls. I don't remember there being so much of these poor quality tahitians being offered before. Just an observation.

    Does the Tahitian government no longer monitor the nacre thickness, or are these coming from somewhere else?
