    Default can anyone tell me about these pearls please?

    im curious what they are, possibly a value, any information is appreciated. thank you

    they're actually a little lighter looking in person & have a blemishes on the pearls like little lines, or small holes in spots. thank you.

    I am not sure what sort of stone they are, but they are not pearls, unfortunately.

    strand measures about 24-25 inches long, should of added that as well.

    Could be anything... Why not try to look through the different gem stones on a website like Fire Mountain Gems? That might give you a clue.

    Can't see too clearly from your photo but wondering if they are shell beads - like the nuclei used in the pearl industry. I have seen these strung into strands on occasion...

    The lines you mention on the beads seem support my theory - shell nuclei beads often have striations on them..
