    Default Gem Grade Freshwater Pearls

So a few months back I had a customer contact me looking to put together "really special" for her 50th birthday. We talked about a few different options and finally decided on a 38" double strand of 9.5mm gem grade freshwater pearls. It took a while to source and match the pearls but I think the finished product was worth the effort.

Glorious! Sighs...and doubled, how beautiful that would be!
Now, I have to go do some math to figure out approx cost of pearls, still learning you know.

Does she like bracelets, too? I'd want to be gazing at beauty like this 24/7...
Excellent job, Kevin! Did you do the culling and matching yourself?

Thanks and no I had a factory in China match the piece for me, which took about 2 months of cherry picking single pearls. Given the size and the overall quality, this piece wouldn't be possible using regular gem grade stock, this is the best of best in regards to gem grade FWPs. Definitely one of the finer pieces I've ever put together.

Wow!!!Those pearls are magnificent! Not to mention the clasp. It's like something Harry Winston or Tiffany's would make and Anna Dodge would wear!

I hope you get more commissions like that!

All you 50th year folks should get something extra special. I know it feels like you are getting old. You don't look like it though. Or feel like it. 50 is still so young and vigorous.

I think I need to start saving!! - got 2 years to go. Chances are I'll have to buy my special present myself, but hey - I get to decide all on my own.

Gorgeous pearls with the perfect clasp. I have enjoyed all the comments. I'm afraid that pearls won't make up for being 54, but they sure do put a smile on my face!
