Hello pearl lovers... I just wanted to let you all know that Laura McCabe has reopened her website www.justletmebead.com. In my opinion she is a GENIUS. The site is full of her latest works, and at very reasonable prices.. including bead work kits, original works and fun baubles. Her pieces define "the punk rock of bead work".. but no one can deny its originality!
I love that she offers kits for sale.. giving everyone with enough patience the chance to take her art a step further. I hope you will all check it out!
(I promise not to tell her about the Tiara Contest!)

Ah yes, the spikey briefcase continues to be a constant companion.

I'm also terribly enamored of Laura's mondo-spikey bracelets, though (price aside) I might be a hazard to myself and others with hard 2-1/2" stone spikes projecting from my wrist...

Still, incredibly beautiful work.
